PRONTO-Xi's abstraction layer means that your system will operate identically whichever platform it is based on. PRONTO-Xi can be easily moved from one platform to another should your needs change over time.
A platform is a specific combination of hardware architecture, operating system and database. PRONTO-Xi main platforms are available on:
- IBM AIX;
- Red Hat Linux;
- Sun Solaris;
- Windows Server.
Databases are offered subject to their availability on the operating system of your choice. Available databases include:
- IBM Informix Dynamic Server (IDS);
- Oracle;
- Microsoft SQL Server.
